Student: Claudia Carolina Orellana
During my second Teaching Practice, I understood that not all us look things in the same way.
I welcomed the students, so they said hello to me, too. Then, I continued the class by asking them about their weekend, some of them said that everyting was fine, etc. Latr, i made a short warm-up for they to get in touch again with the English class. At the beginning, they did not feel like like participating, but at the end, they did things in a nice mood. After, I continued with the grammar explanation about the use of such and so .Then, I made the first exercise related to the topic. They were supposed to complete the information I wrote on the board; for example: The weather was so ..
Student : The wather was so cold that I could not take a shower.
The dierction in the lesson plan said: " In an written and oral way"
So I decided to let the students to make it in a written way on their notebooks, when they finished , I asked them to read the statement on the board and add their own information at the same time.
In the second exercise I asked them to listen the information that I mentioned, so they had to combine the sentences by using such... that, I made the exercise in an oral way because i realized that it was easier for the students just to listen the information and insert the words required in the middle of the two sentences.
I thought that I was right with the procedure;however in the feed back that the teacher gave me , he said that things had been better if I had done the exercise in the opposite way beacuse the first exercise was suitable for them to do it only in an oral way and that for the seacond exercise in the written form.
At the end I analized his point of view and I noticed that his point of view was right according to the needs of the students.
